Default Is today the day?

Is today the day that ANet finally provides the Tormentor 15K set with their weekly update? Updates usually come on Thursdays (usually), so, could it be happy hour for about 1/6th of the GW population?

Were waiting because the armor is there and theres no 15k version. I have a set ok 15k necrotics and love it, but i really want to see the 15k tormentors, because the 1.5k tormentors is pretty kickass on its own.

But what about some hidden armors for warriors and elementlist or any other classes? Who know if A-Net have hidden something good for all the classes not just for necro.

Althought i do agree, 15 Tormentor would look sick on any necros out there right now!

Obviously there is some confusion here.

Armor types:
Droknors - 1.5k armor
Marhan's Grotto, Citadel - 15k Armor
Fissure - Really expensive armor

All these armors have a more expensive version with same stats - example:
Wyvern Set (1.5k) looks different but has same stats as Dragon (15k)

However, the Tormenter's set, both 1.5k and 15k LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME, despite the difference in price.

This is an inconsistancy that has only affected the necromancer class. All the necromancers are asking for is to be treated with the same respect as the other classes.

It is not a 'hidden armor' it is simply a more expensive version of the armor available at Droknar's Forge. All 15k armor has the same stats as the 1.5k version, but "looks better". There are versions for every class (including Ele and warrior) and the necro community is waiting for this particular set. Obviously, this does not impact the non-necro community, with the exception of players that like to post in forums telling the necro community to stop complaining about the lack of 15k Tormentors.

Could be, but then that means they already have the model. What's the hold up?

Personally, I'm curious, but I'm not upset about it only because my necro isn't even close to getting high level armor yet.

Sorry to go off-topic a bit.
But they also have the model for the 15k Knights armour and theres the un-used fire ele robes that you can find aswell.

Strangely all three can be found around ascalon.
The fact that they have the models but don't use them doesn't really makes sense.

Unless they just don't give a damn about people in the game...or are planning something else.

Also I got tired of waiting for the armour update so I just deleted my necro.

Some of the 15k armors are just new textures over the same models. Some are completely different models.

You're assuming that armor represents the model for the 15k Knights, just because an NPC is wearing a specific armor model don't assume it represents anything. I would be more inclined to believe that the NPC's would be wearing armor that was not obtainable by the general populace, to distinguish them from players.

Second, you do realize that you can purchase the non-updated armor and as soon as A.net puts in the new skin, your armor will automatically be updated to reflect the new artwork.

All I can say is be patient and when you see it I think you'll love it(the 15k Tormentors that is).

Ok, here's what the problem is: If you were a Necromancer who went to the Armor crafter in Marhans Grotto, you would see a set of Tormentors armor that costs 15k per peice to craft, and requires Delidrimor Steel as one of the materials (as opposed to normal "Steel" required in Droknars Forge Tormentors armor). If you were to buy this "15k Tormentors armor," you would see that, unlike all other armor that costs 15k to make (Elementalist, Warriors, etc.), this "15k Tormentors armor" looks EXACTLY the same as the Tormentors armor in Droknars Forge.

Right now there is no "15k Knights" for purchase anywhere, there is, however, the "15k Tormentors," it just looks like "1.5k Tormentors." So I continue to stand my ground in LA Intl D1, protesting for the 15k Tormentors to be re-skinned.
